Junior Squash begins this fall on September 19th at the Dalplex and the Tower!
Programs this fall will include instruction, drills, conditioning, and games.
Beginning on September 19th, the following are available on Saturday mornings at Dalplex:
9:15 am - Little Racquet (age 10 and under) 10:15 am - Beginner (ages 10-15) 11:15 am - Intermediate Recreational (ages 11-15)
September 19th – November 21st
Fee: $65 for members $75 for non-members ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Beginning on September 19th, the following are available on Saturday mornings from 8-10 am at the Tower:

Beginning on September 1st, the following are available on Tuesday’s and Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Tower:
Competitive (age 17 and under; must have completed the beginner or intermediate level already)
Instruction and competitive play from September 1st – December 3rd Access to the Tower during non-primetime hours for 1 year. Fee: $150

*Participants require non-marking shoes and goggles. Goggles and racquets are available to participants who don’t have any.

There will be a free crash course in coaching juniors on Sunday, September 13th at 2:00 pm at the Tower. This two-hour session will be put on by Dave Hubley. Whether you are interested in coaching this season, or in the future, it's a great way to get started. All are welcome.

Mission
To introduce and develop the sport of Squash to youth throughout the Province of Nova Scotia and to provide an opportunity for the enhancement of individual skills.
Program
Includes several clinics and tournaments (see schedule) specifically designed to accommodate all skill levels of players between the ages of 8 and 19. The focus will be on skill development and FUN.
Events
Certified coaches will be on hand for instruction and skill development, followed by fun matches between players of similar abilities. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Events will be divided into clinics and tournaments.
They will provide juniors with an opportunity to play in a structured tournament environment. Various age categories will be offered and will be a great learning experience, especially for those who enjoy competition and/or who may want to eventually compete in provincial or regional tournaments. Through previous Squash Connections success, a group of motivated junior squash players represented Nova Scotia at the 2007 Canada Games Team in the Yukon.
